Last weekend, I tried to find a park I had not visited yet—no such luck. The ones I did not know are closed because of the shutdown. This includes the parking lots, and without those, parking becomes difficult. I was unaware that those relatively small parks are under federal authority. I assumed they do belong to the city or county. One of the parks falls under our county’s authority, and I went there.
Our trees are still mostly green, and the lovely shades of yellow, orange, and red are not as abundant as I hope them to be. The fall season is not over yet.

LEAVES ON THE GROUND
Looking down while walking is often worth it. Interesting patterns can be photographed.
