After a very cold stretch of winter with ice and freezing temperatures, spring came in with a vengeance after the temperature rose above a certain level. The trees started to bloom, and the leaves came out. Yeah! The cherry trees in Washington, D.C., are in full bloom, but I won’t be able to visit them this year. Visiting the trees during full bloom on a weekend is just more than I wanted to handle this year. Next year! We have blossoming trees in our neighborhood as well, and here are some impressions.
